The yacht will be 60 meters long and it could travel 3500 nautical miles without refill.
Rolls-Royce has announced that they are building a yacht that won’t need crew in order to run, but it will pilot itself.
This magnificent yacht will feature systems that will allow it not to rely on any manned crew. The company predicts that in the next 10 years the oceans will be dominated by the self-driving ships and yachts.
“These kind of ships allow for higher operational capabilities, reduce the risk for crew members, but also reduce construction and usage risks” – Benjamin Torp, one of the Rolls-Royce managers has said.
Rolls-Royce plans to add solar-panels to the yacht in order to reduce the fuel consumption of the ship.
